Wow, sounds exactly like a (gay) couple of my characters. Except the one with wings is the sillier one in my case. (Making a pun about it being two characters, thus a couple, and being two stallions who are dating, thus a gay couple, was a lot funnier in my head. Doesn't make much sense on paper/the-comments-section without this explaination.)
