Every Bloody Time by Veggie55 Every Bloody Time by Veggie55
Just a quick little strip I threw together in between assignments, based on something I seemed to doing... constantly.... :v
It's not just me, is it?

It's become a pretty bad habit...
Maybe it's a guy thing...

But this sums me up way too well, after hours of awkward octopus porn.

Just kidding, my "meh." shirt isn't green (:

I do that with Firefox sometimes, just to make sure all the nonsense and possibly traumatizing stuff doesn't come up in a search.  Plus, it's kinda fun to pretend it's your first time on a website sometimes!

I'm not an expert on drawing cartoon people, but I have a strong feeling that his right arm shouldn't look this way in panels 3 and 7. the forearm would be ridiculously short. I know - "perspective"... but the placement of his hand wouldn't be like this if it was about perspective.
But I'm not sure how to solve this. Hands are awful to draw. That's why I like ponies :P

I usually don't do this (except for obvious reasons) because chrome has the nasty habit of logging you off from at least half of the pages you have an account, and since some of them somehow doesn't have autofilling (looking at you liveleak), it becomes a pain in the ass in the long run.

Well, that answers that question.

Non-American English speakers DO use the term 'tonne' when not referring to the LITERAL sense of 2,000 lbs.

Thanks, Veggie, that's been bugging me for years!

More on topic, I love this.  Simply excellent.  Thought I really don't understand this habit xD

The knowledge that one has that power does beckon one to use it. I usually look up UFO conspiracy stuff before I erase my history. Just in case.

After reading some comments... am I the only one not clearing history?

I don't have anything bad in here; even if I did, my HDD is encrypted. (Well, Firefox Sync stores a copy on Mozilla's servers. I'd have to turn sync off if I had nasty things in history or bookmarks.)

Admittedly, I'm guilty of looking at porn from time to time, though due to the risks of downloading malware, I'm now trying to restrict my access to my older Windows Vista PC instead of using my newer Windows 7 PC (which I'm using for schoolwork, gaming, and personal projects).

Yup, I delete everything every time. I don't even wait until I'm done with the session before I clean my history so I end up doing it plenty of times.

I started off just deleting select items to make it look tidier and less cluttered (e.g. websites I knew I wouldn't visit again, those annoying duplicate records with blank icons, etc). Because I would try to do it quickly I would occasionally delete an entire day's or week's session by accident; if that happened I would normally delete other stuff for consistency. It eventually progressed to the point where I would delete larger chunks automatically. Now I just get rid of it all out of habit.

Sometimes I remember something from the day before that I liked and can no longer find or that there was something that I liked but can no longer place what it was. It's a little disappointing when that happens but the main reason that I'm comfortable with wiping my history all the time is that there's so much more to discover and enjoy on the net that I can happily move on from those moments.

It may be a bad habit but you're certainly not the only one, mate!

Meh.

I always clear my history before going to sleep every day, but not because of any incriminating material; that's what Incognito is for.

No, I do it to make sure there're no cookies and browser memory clogging up my surfing speed.

Nothing personal Chrome, you just work faster without any bothersome memories holding you back....*cries a single manly tear*
