Am I totally off with this?

I subscribe to the theory that Gilda is secretely the author of the Daring Doo books. Seeing Rainbow Dash reading them made her embaressed, so she ran off in nervousness. If RD ever found out how obsessed Gilda really is, she is afraid she would reject her (again.)

Reading the comments, everyone seems to say something different. Am I totally off with how I first read the pic?
