Floored.So I was just going thru a folder on my desktop that contains pretty much every single piece of fan art I've gotten since this whole pony craze began.  And I sat back and stopped and realized - holy hell, this is just...amazing. I mean, every time I get something new, I am so flattered at the fact that somebody would want to take their time out to draw something for *me*. It boggles my mind, but I love each and every one of them...regardless of skill level.
I just had a moment where I just felt completely moved with happiness at the thoughtfulness and generosity...and I just wanted to say thank you AGAIN to everyone and anyone who has taken time out of their daily lives to be creative and share that with me. It means the world.

Just some updates. (01/09/12) First off, I want to address one thing.
A hiatus does NOT mean I've left.
It just means I'm going to be very inactive on this website, comics-wise, alright?
I still plan on uploading things whenever I've time, like during Christmas and stuff!

Well.. that was interestingOkay, I was doing an interview with a newspaper since I'm featured in the Dallas Museum of Art and it was going well, talking about my fox character, education, and whatnot…. then they apparently heard from my teacher about how I sell art at cons now and stuff so one of the questions they asked was "What exactly do you sell?" ……. so….. that was… interesting to explain….
What I want for Christmas is... (UPDATE)It's been a long time since I wrote a legit journal...
As most of you know, I spend a lot of time on Cloudsdale. What most of you don't know, is that I met the love of my life there. We had talked a little, and she seemed kinda shy. Once she got to know me, she opened right up. We talked almost constantly, staying up all night texting each other. After a short while, she asked me if I had a special somepony... I was surprised she'd asked, but told her the truth- I'd never had a special somepony. What she said next surprised me even more. She asked whether I'd like to be her special somepony. I was estatic, but was quite confused as to why she chose me... But that didn't matter. Over the short time we'd known each other, we'd fallen in love. Later that week, she told me a little more about her family, and about her job. I already knew that she had lost her brother, but what I didn't know was that she had three brothers, two of which are no longer with us. She'd had some depression issue
Story time, children, gather round.~If you're really down about your art and/or are my friend, I'd suggest you really read this.
I really don't know where to start, but I'd just like to say that this has been in my mind for a very long time, and I'd like to let it out.
I've been drawing for at least 3-4 years now, and that's a long time, in my view, and I'm still going onward in my art, and I plan on having it as a career in my future/lifetime. I know my art is not perfect, but at least I'm still practicing and drawing things to get better, no one can be perfect, but we can always be a step away from it. And I'm going to try to attempt it.
I believe a lot of people know that you need to still practice to get better, even if it seems impossible, well, nothing is impossible, it's just hard work. Although some of my friends don't seem to understand this. I hear some of you guys complain that you'll never improve, but that's a lie, you'll improve, it takes a long time, though, and I know you guys have been drawing for years,

(*pppsssssttt* "That statue just 'pissed' at us" No, but really. I think...I think this movie beats "Brave" for me. I mean, don't get me wrong, "Brave" was awesome, and it gave me so many parent/child feels! But it has its flaws and I think it could have been...executed better.
Well. Here's a story for you all....Rather unexpected. And a little embarrassing on my part.
So my oldest brother, Ryan, the almost-19-year-old and the one who threw snails at me this morning, was shooting me with this little foam shooter thingy. I kept telling him to stop, because it was annoying, but he kept doing it, so I resorted to running away.
He followed me because he's stupid.
So I ran into my room and slammed the door. Now, I wouldn't have slammed it if he hadn't been right behind me, but he was, so I did.
Apparently, I should not have done that.
He tried to get in, and couldn't. I never locked it.
So, after much investigating, we found out some little piece of metal from the door got stuck.
I was officially trapped....ehehehe.....
So, we tried a bunch of things, such as sticking a knife in it to try and get it out of the way, unscrewing the doorknob, and, of course, brute force.
Aaaannnndddd, obviously, nothing worked. Meanwhile I'm in the room, just sitting there, like "Will you guys just get me out al

Okay, so my Gran came over this morning before lunch to give my brother his birthday present, then we gave her her's. Then she started talking, but I wasn't really listening, then all of a sudden we're on the topic of bats and she said, "I wacked a bat with a hammer." and I'm just like OAO then she said "I've also wacked one with an ice pick." OAO what in the heck?!

Lately I've been noticing just how lucky I am to have the great friends that I do. Some of you, I've known for years. Some of you are newer friends. Through thick and thin, you've always stood by me. I'm lucky to have all of you. So I just wanted to say thank you. Btw, if you're not on this list, don't feel bad. I only some of my closest RL friends. Sowwy. I know some of the people I wrote to won't see this, but I still need to say it.
Lindsay ~ HEY BABE. I love you. Plain and simple. Your man mind keeps me sane sometimes. When I go off on a hissy, girly, drama-filled spree, I know you'll be there to bring me back down to earth and remind me that I'm only 14, not 35, and that I need to live my teenage life. "She should've come back by now." A gray she-cat hissed. Her green eyes were blazing with anger and impatience. "Dawn will be back any moment, she is probrably exploring the forest." A darker gray tom spoke, "Like you do everyday, Alex." The tom twitched his tail with amusment as the she-cat glared at him."I'm just worried, Stone." Alex murmured. Stone looked at her, his dark yellow eyes flickered from the reflection of the sun. Alex suddenly stood up on the curved branch they were sitting on. "I'm going to go look for her." If you like it or not. She added on silently."No wait-" It was too late, Alex jumped down head first and landed on her front paws, then on her back legs. She lifted her head up and opened her jaw half way, letting the air brush againt her muzzle. Turning her head right, she ran off. Stone sighed and slouched down on the base of the branch, letting the sun warm up his blazing gray-bloodred fur.

New Journal Skin and some updates!Made myself a new journal skin, finally! ;u; I made this during when my power went out from yesterday into today. Thank god it wasn't for long! Plus I was surprised how powerful the wind was, it blew a lot of things away. x_x And It also split a tree in my back yard. Also I had a rough time sleeping, gosh. ;_; With the wind and all, ugh, it was horrible.
Anyways, I'm working on commissions now, so hopefully I can do all of my pixels in a week or so, then do the drawings, then I'll have a break before I open up commissions again!

ramble #2Welp. Second rambly journal time. Where did I leave off last time? ..........Oh, yes, Spiderman.
Well, since then, a bit has happened. Nothing major. We've marched at two games and have our first competition coming up this Saturday. I'm quite nervous, because we don't even have out whole show learned yet. Eeeeek... I don't know how we're going to learn AND memorize all of it in just 4 days of rehearsal. And of course we won't be getting Wednesday morning off this week, ugh.
A couple weeks ago Lindsay, Cody, Maddie, Samantha, and Waltman all walked home with me after school on an early out and we defeated the Boyfriend Does My Makeup Challenge. Well, Cody and I did. Maddie and Lindsay are both single and just came to watch for the fun of it. (LINDSAY IF YOU READ THIS I STILL NEED THOSE VIDEOS DEARY.) Waltman and Sam chickened out, wimps. I seriously looked like a makeup bomb exploded on my face. Cody, I love you, but you don't need to pour the whole bottle of foundation on my face. Yurp

Hey everyone!

Just want to give you all a few updates and whatnot before I go off to bed.

First off...
I might become a bit more active between now and.... February/March-ish

Since it's nearly Christmas (Yay!) I'll do my best to become more active drawing-wise on here!
I've that Christmas-ish comic finished as of 5 minutes ago and I'll upload it at some stage (:

I've also reworked my times when I get home so that I now always get about 30 minutes each weekday night to work on some of my art and such.
This might be useful up until around the months of March and such, so perhaps there might be a brief pause within this not-really-a-hiatus-more-just-slow-working-time .

I've gotten over my resentment to doing these comics and right now I feel like doing a bunch over the holidays :la:





Secondly...
Since I'll have my holidays from Doomsday, I mean, December 21st I'm thinking (THINKING) of maybe opening up commissions again for that fortnight.
They'd only be small ones, of course, but I might do 2 or 3 of them during the holidays.
If anyone's interested, feel free to note me :)

There's not really much news other than those announcements.
School work's slowly getting more tedious, usually 4 hours of study to be done every night :|

But enjoying all the parties and such at the weekends, of course :p

Also continuing working on music/machinima related materials.
I've been talking with *BlackGryph0n and we might be working on a musical collaboration in the future.
