I assumed people were just drawing stuff, then uploading it on the day they want to give their present. You can, of course, upload a preview image (doesn't have to be a preview as such, of course), then replace it with the actual gift art on the right day.
im gonna do a DIRTY Santa but not a secret santa. For those of you who stumble across this post and dont know, a dirty santa iw where everybody brings a present and other people can either steal your gift or open one for themself and it ends when all the presents have been distributed. the first person gets to steal at the very end which throws the game back into another steal frenzy until nobody wants to steal anymore.
If I had a reasonably reliable scanner, I might. As it stands though, not likely.
I'm not half bad at drawing with a basic pencil&paper, but the only scanner in any sort of proximity to me pretty much kills pencil sketches and I have less than no coordination using a mouse for drawing on the computer. I'd need a tablet to have any form of success, and I'm just not interested enough in drawing to drop any kind of money on something like that. At least not right now.
Kinda. My class is having a Christmas calendar where everyone buys a present for the price from 30-50 NOK and bring it to school. (Packed of course) What we do from then it varies. Either we pick a random present each day or we give each of them a number. Either way one person is picked randomly every day to get the day's present.
