I grew up with Brosnan, which cemented in my mind the image of Bond being a smooth operator, always calm and in control. Daniel Craig is anything but. Fun to watch, but not James Bond in my mind. I'm not much of a movie buff, so i haven't seen the older movies/actors. So i gotta go with Pierce.
Honestly, I have to say Daniel Craig, only because he's been one of the oldest and he portrays Bond more as a fighter and a figure of physical strength as well as intelligence and seduction than what I've seen in the past. I also like how he seems to have a lot more action surrounding him, and he had the best M by far. I feel like he shows the more realistic side of being an MI6 operative than the others, with all the gory details and intense fight scenes, plus the mystery and suspense surrounding some on his supporting characters.
Sean Connery. I grew up in the era of Brosnan, and he did a good job. He was the charmer Bond, the man that made Bond look good no matter what he was doing. But Connery, he was a manly Bond. The manliest of all. And you can't argue with an immortal and a dragon, can you?
