Favorites are nice, and watcher's are really nice. But comments are what its really all about. They let you know you're not out here in the ocean of art alone. Someone has decided its worth talking to you, if for just a bit.
Dangit, didn't see the 'comments' option and voted 'favorites'. Let's just pretend I voted comments.
It takes all of 5 seconds of effort to favorite. Just a bit more to look at the artist's page and watch. But someone has to take a deeper interest beyond dA's equivalent of the 'like button' in order to comment.
Comments are the best. They can give you constructive criticism or simply make your day with some sweet words. It means someone cared enough about your artwork to contribute their own little tidbit. There are the occasional times people tend to post silly, rude, or pointless things but overall, I care most about comments.

They're all pretty superfluous and boil down to the same thing. But since they're all basically the same, what little ego i have watched my pageviews since it's the most easily quantifiable and easiest to view. If i had a choice though, i would say "weekly (or monthly) pageviews" would most accurately convey ones e-popularity.
Couldn't give less f*cks about any of those things but comments; the rest is just pointless self-boasting. (I might be misinterpreted; I do care about watchers, I just don't care about gaining as many as possible).
...None of them. I mean, caring about any of them is like saying "Oooh, yeah, I'm so awesome, I am best man of history in world" (misspelled on purpose), and that would just be like... well... stupid... or idiotic... or something like that. So I care about None of them. And I voted for "None of them" too.
Neither. Pageviews and deviation views can be faked. Faves, comments and watchers are mainly an indicator of the exposure that artist has and NOT of the skill he or she posesses. That's how you get underrated artists. They are amazingly talented people with less exposure than others who are much less skilled but submit their stuff to a ton of groups or comment on everything or have some other form of exposure.
None on my own page(s) at the moment, but I like to comment and see how the artists I watch are doing. <3 I only have the one pony crator pic, anyway, and need to practice a lot on my other stuff. Soooo... Yeah. XD
