Of course I do. How else would I be able to remain calm in this crazy world? Besides, the conversations I have with myself are usually the best.... or the worst..... Really depends on how I feel. Isn't that right me? ...... Me agrees.
I do it as a way of working out problems, as well as figuring out how I want a conversation to play out. If I have something very important to say, I'll say it out loud first to make sure I know how I want to say it. I also use it to psych myself up for accomplishing things.
Well, I argue to me, fight with me, laugh with me, read with me, also Im talking right while Im writting, it really works to concentrate, like seriously, even once, I screamed in the whole street while I was talking to myself.
I sometimes find myself explaining stuff to myself, stuff I clearly already understood, but was explaining it to someone who didn't understand. I think its just practice for when... or if, I talk to another actual person, but it still kind of freaks me out. It doesn't help when it usually happens at the same time when all my thoughts are played twice, like there's an echo.
